How do I cancel or withdrawal from a course?

2016 Summer Connections Program

Course Return Policy (withdrawals and drops):

The last day to drop and receive a refund is June 25, 2016, minus a $25 processing fee. NOTE: Withdrawals after the drop date will be charged the full cost of the course to cover licensed material and instructor costs—per Michigan Virtual, and a “W” will be on the transcript.

To withdrawal or drop from a course, please contact the Cori Thomas via email at thomasco@northvilleschools.org. Please include the following in your email:

  1. Copy of your purchase receipt (this contains your order # so that we can locate your purchase)
  2. Name of student to withdrawal
  3. Name of the course to drop
You will receive an email confirming the credit to your charge card less the $25 processing fee.

NOTE: A $25 processing fee will be assessed for withdrawing from any class.


Course Exchange Policy:
If you wish to change courses, please contact Cori Thomas via email at thomasco@northvilleschools.org. Please include the following information in your email:


  1. Copy of your purchase receipt (this contains your order # so that we can locate your purchase)
  2. Name of student to withdrawal
  3. Name of the course to drop
  4. Name of the course you plan to add.



Class Cancellation Policy:
You are encouraged to register early to ensure classes planned are not canceled due to lack of enrollment. If a class is canceled. parents will be notified by June 17, 2016.
